A friendly game to help us all notice, and record, the wildlife of Mycenae Gardens. A few simple rules keep it fair and kind.
Log a species when you actually spot it, in the gardens. The records help us understand what lives here, so honesty matters.
Count each species up to five times per session. It keeps the leaderboard fair and stops any one visit running away with it.
Your nickname appears on the leaderboard and next to your sightings. Keep it clean, offensive nicknames are removed, and there's no need to use your real name.
You can add a photo to a sighting, but a volunteer reviews it before it appears on the site. Please only upload photos you've taken yourself.
Use the “not on the list” button. New species are marked as pending until a volunteer can confirm them.
Enjoy the wildlife from a respectful distance. Stay on the paths, keep dogs under control, and never disturb nests, plants or creatures to get a sighting or a photo.
The leaderboard runs by calendar year. Once a year is complete it's kept as an archive you can look back on, for example, the 2026 board becomes viewable from 2027.
