We welcomed the 40th Greenwich Scouts Group, who volunteered with us to earn their Environmental badge, which works towards the Chief Scout's Gold Award.

They spent their time digging over the wildlife meadow, working sand into the soil so the seed could take, and then reseeding it. They also tidied the wildlife area and cleared brambles.

Preparing ground properly is slow work and it makes all the difference to what comes up the following summer. Our thanks to the group for a good day's work.
