How it works

Current round: July to September 2026
Enter by Wednesday 30 September 2026. Results by Thursday 15 October 2026.

We welcome photographs of Mycenae Gardens all year round, judged in four rounds: January to March, April to June, July to September and October to December. There are no prizes, but winning photographs are displayed at Mycenae House, on the Friends' noticeboard and in the Westcombe News. We may also feature them on our social media, or use them to produce greeting cards or a calendar.

There are two categories: one for adults (18 and over), and one for our younger members (under 18). You are welcome to enter more than one photograph. Each round closes on its last day, and the committee announces the results by 15 April, 15 July, 15 October and 15 January, contacting the winners directly. We are not able to reply to every entry, only the winning ones.

By entering you give the Friends of Mycenae Gardens permission to use your photograph as described above. If your photograph shows children or vulnerable people, please make sure you have a parent or guardian's consent first. We only use your email to let you know if you have won. Company

Once you submit, your photograph goes to the committee. A committee member reviews and approves it before it appears on the site.
