We welcomed the 40th Greenwich Scouts Group again, who volunteered with us to earn their Environmental badge, which works towards the Chief Scout's Gold Award.

They spent their time building more of the vital dead hedging, litter picking throughout the gardens and weeding in the oases.

Dead hedging gives shelter and nesting places to birds, insects and small mammals, and puts the wood we cut back to work rather than taking it away. Our thanks to everyone who turned out.
