Volunteering in the Gardens

Come and help care for the gardens: planting, wildlife-friendly maintenance and good company. Stay for an hour or the whole morning.

What to expect

• No experience needed, and tools are provided. Just turn up, or say hello to any volunteer when you arrive.
• Wear clothes that can get muddy; sturdy shoes or boots are a good idea in the wetter months.
• Tasks vary with the season: planting, mulching, hedge care, leaf clearing and looking after the beds.
• Under-16s are welcome with an adult.
